    A Maryland man is free after posting bail, following a fatal crash in Carbon County on Monday. The afternoon crash happened in front of the Hauto Volunteer Fire Company, Nesquehoning, and claimed the life of 30-year-old Terry Angel Gonzalez of Lansford.

    Electric power from the Harwood plant was shut off for a time during yesterday, owing to the break in the power lines. An insulator failed to work, causing a heavy ground that in turn caused a break at other points in the lines.
